Ugh, what's the point of it?
I'm a 7th Grader and we have so much of it! I also fail to see the point of it all. Most research has found that it doesn't actually benefit kids at all, and that it doesn't affect grades.
Moreover, our teachers often fail to offer the help required to students.
I believe it's an incredibly outdated and dumb concept that has no place anymore in schools. Who agrees?

I actually enjoyed it, depending on the subject. Homework is merely practice to make sure you understand the material. Im sure there is a class you thoroughly enjoy, so the homework from that class shouldnt be as bad, or feel as bad for that matter. The other thing could be that you dont feel challenged enough with what you have, so try asking the teacher(s) of your "easier" classes about something more suited to your needs. :)

Oh dear god I hate homework with a passion.

I didn't get homework until grade 8. Prior to that, there were the odd '2 week projects' that needed doing, that was the only 'homework' that I'd ever known. and I HATED those.

But my problem with homework is twofold. First, it violated the sanctity of the separation of school and home. To me, school was terrible and home was supposed to be separate and a haven from that. Homework dragged school right into the home psychologically.

Secondly, I firmly believe that all schoolwork should be able to be finished within the confines of the class time. Homework serves no useful purpose IMO, as it has no 'real life' parallel. If you can't finish your schoolwork in the time they have, they gave you too much.

I got worse grades after I started getting homework. It was just too overwhelming.
