I was doing my midterm for LAW236, Legal information word processing, and since I am slower in my motor movements on the computer in regards to the mouse and of course taking in information and interpreting it, I am slower.I know my stuff but i am slower at interpreting the instructions and putting them into play...most likely an AS thing...I ended up rushing in the end and felt shaky, anxious, on edge, overwhelmed, and wanting to throw the mouse across the room and scream.I was starting to rub my neck and face and my leg was bouncing up and down.I did finish but it was half fast as a result of being slow.I basically felt like I was going to have a meltdown...Luckily I didnt....otherwise, that would have freaked my instructors out...since I did not disclose my AS to the college.I am in my second year in the Legal Assistant Program at Red Deer College.

^^ Greetings Tory_canuck, I am very sorry for your happy little meltdown, however am veyr happy that you finished your magical little examination. ^^ I believe I also am blessed by panic attaks in some examinations. I believe this is often when I am worried that I shall not have enough time when completing a certain question, and worried for which questions to complete. ^^ This is very fun however.

I feel like that during my harder tests like algebra.
And whenever I think that I will be late or will fail something.
It happens more often if I am tired and have already had something happen that unnerves me. Like have someone tell me not to say/do something after I did it and I had not realized that
A: I said it and
B: I didn't think about it, it just came out.
Working at register with people gets me to the breaking point real fast.

I do get that as well. I am never in a room with other people (because of my Tourettes) so I don't disturb people, but when I was a kid (pre-diagnosis) I used to freak out in exams. Sadly, I don't usually FEEL like screaming I DO!

I know how horrible the pressure at the end feels too. You just think 'great I haven't done good enough...' or something.

UPDATE-I passed that exam with a 72 percent, which is a B I think. :)

If I am in a room with complete strangers I can't focus so my grades are nowhere near as good as I can get. I took both the GED and the ACT and got pretty good scores I didn't get scores that are normal for me though. I can only imagine how bad I am going to do in College with the work being harder and the classroom size being significantly larger.

I hate tests so much, that it is not even funny. Even when I study really hard, I still fail on my tests nonetheless. Especially with math, when I study, I still fail my tests. I don't know how in the heck it happens but I feel like I am cursed and If i can't transfer to a 4 year college and only get an associates, i will commit suicide or/and feel like lesser of a person.
