Unfortunately my decision is final and I'm leaving college. It was a new experience for me and it was great in many ways but I feel that the transition from school to college went too fast for me to keep up. And I don't want my academic record to define my abilities in the job market, so I'm moving on. I'm transferring to Community College for an Architecture degree and I'll build up from there.

And when I'm independently stable, with a place and job of my own, I'll return to university. I haven't given up yet. My life goal is to finish what I started.

You're in UNC-CH?

It must be a very stressful place to be studying in.

Just continue to work hard, we are behind you...

I actually went to UNC Charlotte since UNC-CH hasn't an architecture program available (I just live in Chapel Hill), but I know several friends of mine who've been in CH and had to leave as well. I'm working hard to prepare for community college at Durham Tech. The only thing I'm worrying about is the timing of the architecture program, since it's only been listed as starting in the fall. If that's still true, I'll just attend classes that could be vital to my future besides my career.

Yup, just wait and see. Enjoy the rest of life in UNC-C...

NB: I used to dream attending University of Michigan Ann Arbor, if not UNC-CH. :) I am envious of you... UNC-C is good!
