School issue

I posted a blog about an all day vo-tech school I am attending. The sending school districts proposed to make it a half day school. If this takes place, it will affect all of the students who attend this school. Please read it and state your opinions on here.

Sounds like they're trying to do what my ex-hs did for their tech program (half day). I'd try to get yourself/parents to the school board meetings (if/when they have any/sorry I skimmed b/c I'm busy) to try and stop this (I don't know if it'll be voted on?). But hopefully if they do the half-day thing you can arrange for tech students to still have academic classes together . (I'm a college student, so I'm not familiar w/ this situation)

Could you perhaps suggest a compromise system where current students could be grandfathered in to stay on full-time & only new students would go part-time? The local vocational hs junior/senior program is a 50/50 time split because then they can focus on the vocational education only & offer more programs. Of course, vocational tracks at each individual school don't really exist aside from the 50/50 option.
