I enjoyed going to college (Molloy College), but because of psych problems, I was unable to complete them. I'd like to get back into school by Spring 2011. What steps must I take to get back into school?

I know the first step is going to the admissions office and obtaining the readmission application.
I also know I'll have to fill out a FAFSA form...

I have 58 credits under my belt.

I'm planning on starting with 3 credits (hopefully could do as an audited course to start with)
I'm also hoping I can convert from a 4-year psychology degree to a 2-year liberal arts degree.

Please help me.
Thanks,
Andy...

When you say 'unable to complete', do you mean that you dropped out due to bad grades, or that you had problems, but you left with a decent GPA?

If you have a decent GPA, it shouldn't be too hard to get back into the same school (or a different one); if your grades were bad, you'll probably have to show them that you can do better than the last time.

Some schools have an online application process, and all of them should have a website that talks about what is involved in applying.

I left school because I was having problems related to my bipolar disorder and I withdrew with a GPA of 2.3.

2.3 isn't bad. I'd look up the college's application procedure and see if they have an online version. They probably also have a catalog online, which will probably tell you more than you ever wanted to know about applying.

What were you in school for? If it's some "soft subject", it's probably not worth going back, because you'll just end up unemployed and in debt.

Psychology, but I want to start with getting my associates in liberal arts, then from there get my psychology degree.
