I've never filed with the Student Disabilities office at my campus because I've never really needed any of their assistance-services. I'm considering it now, however, because they also have a few different scholarships for students with Aspergers and HFA. My question is do you think this would be a help or hindrance? Do grad schools in general look at something like Aspergers in a positive or negative light?

I love to find scholarships for people on the spectrum...

I wish they had that around here.

There are scholarships for being a fa***t, but not for Asperger's and other relevant conditions. What gives?

Your school offers these scholarships? That's pretty nice, and that could be worth opening a file with disability services. My school doesn't have anything exclusively for people on the spectrum. The closest thing they offer is a diversity scholarship, and by diversity they mean race.

I didn't realize it was such a rare thing... Now that I think about it, the school really does have a nice program. There are a lot of accommodations for those that need it. Going to speak with an administrator Monday. :)

I mistyped, I wish they'd offer scholarships for people on the spectrum as I haven't found any :(
