Oh crap! Missed one of my midterm exams!! !!

I really blew it bigtime. Just as I thought that I already have done my powerpoint class midterms weeks back, I missed it now in midterm's week. I don't know why. So stupid that I've ignored this class. I have to clear up some of my animation assignments and I was so focused on that I can't think of anything else. I also have a website to finish up for web design class too!

Can't schools just let you study only 1-2 subjects at a time?! I don't want to tell my mom. And don't have any illnesses to have a documentation from a doctor. So far, only thing I could do is to counteract grades by trying to pull off A's on the other subjects(the web design is one of them). But what should I do though? I've never been in this kind of worse case scenario and through my freshman years, I've always been a perfectionist! But yet I fail badly in school! I don't get why my classmates, spending 24/7(or almost) playing WOW and smoking yet can pull off better grades than I do?

Perhaps you could just explain to the school what happened.

Just because I can't study more than a subject at a time? Worst excuse ever! Why am I NOT allowed to stab a knife into my own stomach like a samurai warrior?

Best bet is to talk to the professor and explain what happened. You might take a penalty for missing the exam, but if you can take it now/turn in your project late, some grade is better than an F for not being there at all.

Yeah what Chronos said. If not, work your d@#$ed hardest to get great grades in your other classes. That might overshadow a bad grade on your report card.

I would ask the prof if you could have the weight of the midterm shifted to your final.
