:-) The teacher mention 1-2 pages it's 4 and nearly 1500 words. :-) LOL! I sent it to a WP friend and some parts of it to another through PM to get there view. If I knew how to post word documents here I'd post it here for all my fellow Aspies to read and enjoy. :-) I quoted some Asperger's books of course. Pretending to Be Normal,Guide to Asperger's and Aspergirls as well as another I forgot the title. :-) (He wanted 3 references that's 4) :-) BTW the paper is due April 25th yet I got it done Feb. 4th YA! :-) You can't beat Aspie special interest and mine is college. :-)

Asperger's means never having to turn in a short paper!

What are you going to do for the rest of the term?

There are weekly discussions/assignments for all my courses it's just this one course (Philosophy) asked for a research paper. When I was in college in the past I did a paper over the 2 week Christmas break. LOL! Teacher didn't seem to mind although students gave me some glaring looks. Ahh! The joys of being Aspie at times. :-)

:lol:I finished my aspie and NLD paper (comparison of the 2 disorders for my atypical child dev. class) over the Christmas break nearly a month before the due-date ....this paper was supposed to be "10-15 pages"....and I wrote 18! I'm actually worried that I might get marks deducted for going so far over the word limit....I tried to be concise but I actually had five more pages that I thought were equally as important as what I handed in...and found it very difficult to cut it down to 18! I also sited WAY more references than necessary as well. Psychology and AS are preoccupations for me right now so I actually did an insane amount of research for this one paper. :D

LOL! When I was in college in the past I did a research paper over the Chirstmas break too!! ! LOL! The teacher was like no take a break I said no! :-) I came in the first day of Spring sememster with a paper done. (I got stares from other students) :-( Sometimes it's a burden being an Aspie and hard since other students don't share my passion of College and Psychology NT's with there stupid socializing ways and thinking Psychology is all about mental illness and therapy HOW STUPID! HOW ABOUT DAMN RESEARCH FOR GOD SAKE SHEESH!! !! !! !

I'm curious, how did you tie Asperger's in with the topic of your course (philosophy)?

There!! ! I think that's it!! ! BTW he wanted us to choose a topic/thesis and give 3 references (I gave 4) and 1-2 pages (I did 4 pages). It was any topic of our choosing and my first idea came from the aspect that female Aspies are little Philosophers. Hope the link works!

As a verbose Aspie myself, I know how hard it is to keep within the page requirement. However, one thing I learned in college was how to keep my writing more concise, which is the desired effect in science. So, with your extra time, you might want to try and get it under 2 pages, to challenge yourself to write the way real journal articles are written. Every word counts, unfortunately. But the paper is very interesting, so good job! :D
