First College Class & Please Don't talk to Me!

I am signed up for a sociology class for racial and ethnic studies. I already have numerous sociology textbooks here. I am also going to start researching the general premise of the class on the internet. It is worth 3 credits and it's 2 days a week.

At college, some people try to talk to me. I'd rather they didn’t and in fact I hope the professor does not call on me in class either, unless I know everything which I hope to. I like to just sit and listen, mind my own business and be left alone. No idle chit chat at all, intrusive social folk!

*leans over closely and stares into your eyes*
