I'm taking psychology. Any advice from those who have either had it as a compulsory in college or majored in it at university?

I took psychology and sociology courses for my anthropology degree (in progress). Those classes are fairly easy if you are good at remembering definition of words and know how to read/interpret statistical data.

Well the census is in and I can't do psychology either. We had a ten minute writing assignment in class last night on the topic of "Psychology: What make it good and what makes it bad and I couldn't even come up with a jot note. How come everyone around me can but I can't?
