I am in a School Band playing alto saxophone. I like playing it and I sometimes feel that I am doing something someone else wants me to do. "You sound pretty good" is what my mom usually says, but she doesn't know much about the current music I play because she use to play French Horn in her School Band; so I don't expect her to know much. But it would be nice if she would know the basics so she can support me. I started playing the saxophone 2 years ago, I was very excited about starting to play it and I felt pressured along the way. I was very "lazy" when I started playing the instrument. I didn't practice, I didn't take very good care of the instrument, and I feel that I didn't get the "necessities" I needed at that time. I feel guilty and I am sitting here posting this when I should be practicing this guilt-making, (could become a) college-paying, time-consumer pipe people call an instrument. What would you do if you skipped a page in the "Book of Instructions" :?:
