This corresponds to my post entitled "Very Close to a final Decision".

I have narrowed my decision to the two schools listed above.

Both colleges are good. University of Montana has its on-campus apartments mostly furnished, and Boise State does not. I can finish in two years at Montana, as opposed to two and a half at Boise.

The total cost of each college is about the same, about $38,000 because I am out-of-state. As far as which geology program is better (which is the most important thing), both colleges are probably about equal.

So, Montana has better rooms and you can get a degree there in less time, while Boise has no similar benefits? I would say Montana.

Originally, I was accepted to the University of Hawaii, but those plans were scrapped due to the exorbitant costs of living there.

Anything else about a school that is important to you? I don't know what kinds of interests you have, for example if you like eating different kinds of food, then going to a place with different restaurants and stuff would be nice. Or close proximity to the outdoors (mountains, lakes, etc.).

What kind of degree program is this?

Ok, enough deadlock.

I notice there is a tie here. So we just need one person who hasn't voted to make a vote. I don't want to have to go to a second runoff here.

I voted Montana. It's beautiful there and being able to finish college faster is ALWAYS good :)

It's official then. Quick finishes have triumphed over blue football fields.

And now having heard about the big earthquake earlier today, it was probably a good idea I didn't go there.

Yeah, Texans don't belong in places that have earthquakes :)
