i think i have given somone at the college the wrong impression about me, one of the women in my course asked me what i had done on the weekend and i had climbed mount Snowdon and i told her so, she was impressed. She then asked me what the big book was under my arm, which i told her 'The Complete works of Oscar Wilde', she raised an eyebrow and asked if i read alot, i told her i have about 12 books on the go. she when asked me what the little book next to it was, and i told her it was 'How to Learn Farsi' she asked what that was and i told her it was a mix of arabic and persan. She then asked me what i was doing after collage that day and i told her i was rushing off to help plant a church in Bristol (Bristol is 200 odd miles away), she was taken aback by all this i think, cos she said "i dont know how the rest of us are gonna be able to keep up with you" and walked off.

did i do wrong? :?

It sounds like she was joking about how active you are. Not too many people carry around the complete works of Oscar Wilde and climb mountains(though Snowdon doesn't really count as one), and plant churches. It does not sound like you did wrong.

NT friends normally joke with each other a little, in a friendly sort of way.

The line about "not being able to keep up with you" is a compliment - she's expressing admiration for how much you manage to do.

Sounds like you've made a friend!

Sometimes when people ask what are you going to do after school/college/work they want to hang out with you. I think she's interested in you as a friend.
