What are your expirences with online high schools?
You work at your own pace , it's quiet and relaxed in the comfort of say your living room on the computer listening to music videos and doing your homework at the same time.
It's more of a last resort really for those who have been bullied but you'll need a good reason for it now , considering that in canada there is an anti-bullying law.
Plus you have to pay , and your only a student , I don't know how eager your parents are either.
I was considering an open university a while ago , without having a highschool diploma , the only thing limiting me was money.
And money doesn't last since there is no federal loan for people who leave highschool early.
So I'm stuck with a smaller class size and a modified IEP and I'm doing pretty well working on Independent learning to earn my credits.
With the advent of technology more and more people are considering online schools which are regarded highly by employers and graduate colleges as well. However, you should make sure that you consider a school which is rated/approved by a recognized body.
Online schools help you study at your own pace and from the convenience of your home. However, one thing which I do not like about these is that online schools do not offer non-academic learning experience like team work, accepting failure etc. With that said, its upto you to decide what works best for you.
Good luck.
