So many peoples say they don't get it, but it's so simple. A simple formula c^2=a^2+b^2; c is the biggest size of a square triangle, put "a" and "b" to the resting sizes, isolate the needed variable in a operation so short it can be easilly memorised. I see it as simple, and can't see it as difficult. So what the deal? Why so many peoples struggle with it? (I don't want to make peoples who struggle with it feel bad. For many aspies and NTs math become more challenging up from algebra, for me it stopped be impossible and became a little bit interesting; I'm weird like that. )

Pythagoras' formula is simple. Try finding the focus of a normalized parabola instead.
