After reading about the humanities on WikiPedia, which at best, provides a nice, well-organized pan-thematic portal, I noticed that many of the courses defied my personal stereotype of the humanities being just like the classes where the work of the teacher is simply to make everyone feel welcomed and no one left out (May I refer you to a brief search of, "Tastes Like Diabetes?"). In addition, learning about topics such as logic in its proper form interests me. The main idea of this post is this simple question: who would like to help/join? The following is my planned schedule:
Demitrimester 1 (present-Nov. 29. 2011):
-Latin (1h/d)
Demitrimester 2 (Nov. 30, 2011-Jan. 13, 2012):
-Greek (1h/d)
-Logic (1h/d)
-History? (0.5h/d)
-Linguistics (0.5h/d)
Demitrimester 3 (Jan. 23, 2012-Feb. 28, 2012):
-Greek (1h/d)
-Philosophy (Ethics+Semantics) (1h/d)
-Anthropology (0.5h/d)
-Area/Cultural Studies (0.5h/d)
-Psychology (1h/d)
Demitrimester 4 (Feb. 29, 2012-Mar. 26, 2012):
-Non-Indo-European Language 1 (1h/d)
-Philosophy (Metaphysics) (1h/d)
-Communications Studies (1h/d)
-Politics (0.5h/d)
Demitrimester 5 (Mar. 27, 2012-May 4, 2012):
-Non-Indo-European Language 1 (1h/d)
-Toxicology (2h/d)
Demitrimester 6 (May 5, 2011-End of school year):
-Non-Indo-European Language 2 (1h/d)
-Philosophy (Epistemology) (1h/d)
-Law (1h/d)
-Religion (1h/d)
-Visual/Performing Arts (1h/d)
I would like plausible curricula for D2 and D3 for now, along with decent online textbooks (not that I have neglected this role, but I am a poor judge of quality of works of nearly identical diction). I would also like the classic plausibility checks (viable based on testing calendar, time available for such activities assuming 6h free time, et cetera).
I do not want comments about me being a, "western cultural bigot," as I have an eastern background, and focus the curriculum in such a way simply because Latin and Greek are extremely useful to most sciences and general vocabulary. I presume that those wishing to participate or join are those of similar mental backgrounds with high -log([Self]) and rather low [Self] due to low interest. I find that simply reading about philosophy has already drawn me to some of the topics of it, which will explain the distributed schedule. Also keep in mind the fact that I may be excellent at planning (not necessarily for quality), but am not at normal levels concerning the realization of the planning. My intention for this project is a simple way for the participant to find its weaknesses so it can improve its appearance of being that which is accepted as normal.
In the event that you do want me to write in a less formal tone, keep in mind that it may sound even more artificial, because this level of pedantry feels natural. Si errare humanum est, super humanum sum quod nimis erro (and I am glad I will not have to fanatically study Latin anymore. This explains the rapid drop in quality following, "cramming," for the fateful exam on the Aeneid).
Summary of revision: layout changes

I would like those who wish to participate (and others too, if possible) to locate decent and free curricula online. I have found some resources, but overall, they do not seem to be organized properly. I will compile a database on them as soon as the other projects are out of the way and I manage to create some interest on actually doing this schedule for acclimation rather than mere education.
