I have a paper I am supposed to write in my college English class about myself. I am terrible at talking about myself, I never understand the questions and it is very confusing!! !

Quote:
"how has your formal education and place where you are born have the most lasting impact on the student you are?"

and

Quote:
"How has your place [as the middle child] affected the way you view education, make friends, and behave?"

Questions like this, just to name a few. They just baffle me and I really don't know how to answer them...

T^T

We are going to have a social group about this too, in class...

OMG those types of questions would be a complete overload for me!! !! I am confused as well.

Maybe someone on the forums has done something like this before. I wish I could help you.

I would read that as two questions: What parts of school have affected how you study and/or think? and What effect has the location where you were born had on how you study and/or think?

That's a pretty vague question, so you can talk about something that's only sort of connected to the question if you want.

The one about 'being a middle child' is just silly. There might be a statistical effect that being a middle child has, but that doesn't mean that it had that effect on you personally.

These questions ARE baffling. It's not you.

Here's some things that might help:
-think of all the examples you can of how your place as the middle child influenced your life, and for the other question.
-use those examples to build paragraphs.
-try to get at least one or two examples per paragraph, linking them thematically. No examples needed in intro or conclusion.

How long of a paper is it?

750 words. And I wrote about how me being the middle child did not really affect my opinion of the matter.
