Try arranging a separate time to meet with your physics teacher outside of class. Ask her if she can explain specifically what she wants from you on the assignments. If she asks why, just tell her that it is your particular learning style. Mentioning AS probably isn't necessary; there are plenty of NTs who have learning styles in which specific instructions is very important to the task.
If your physics teacher is a typical science teacher, you shouldn't have too much of a problem with her accepting this answer and explaining more to you. As a general rule, scientists tend to be more straightforward than not and usually expect others to be the same way.
