I am 15 and have been being homeschooled since late february. I am on an online program. I found out that the school lost my records of me being in the 2nd semester in my old school. So now My new home schooled end time is DECEMBER!! !! !! !! !! !! ! meaning I have to do 2 days of work a day. I hate school. When I was in public I was smarter than all the other students. I was getting strait A's and all that. But now that I'm home schooled I can't focus. I feel like everything is a distraction. Being at home is my worst nightmare because there is so much stuff I would rather be doing (and then I find myself doing it skipping my school work) This week I did no school work at all. I feel like there is no point. Why do all this school work to go to another year and then another and then another and then collage with 4 more years. Going back to public is not an option. The problem is I find myself not learning anything because you have to read it. The only subject I can do is math because it is my passion and the dumb school put me in my grades Algebra 1 when I was on to Algebra 2. I really hate school and feel like dropping out. Can a 15 year old freshman drop out of school? The moment I login to the school I see all the work I have to do that day, panic and the go watch Raywilliamjohnson or smosh. I really need help. Please respond quickly.

Im 19, study at uni by distance and have been/am currently struggling, dont know if my thoughts will be of any help as they are based on my own experiences:

Can you identify all the factors that are causing problems? What can you do to reduce those problems?
E.g. you feel you are in the wrong math level, can you or your parents contact the school and change the math program you are enrolled in?
E.g. you say you cant focus at home, can you work in another environment, even for some of the time? E.g. a library, someones office, etc. Would it help to work along side others who are also focused and studying too?

Maybe work on chunking your time, 1 hour work, half a tv program, another hour of work, finish the tv program?

Im assuming from your post you are currently behind. What will it take to get on top of your work? Being on top of things will improve how you are feeling about the situation.
