Hello, I'm new here. I hope I am posting in the correct place. Anyways, I have Asperger's Syndrome; more on that if requested. I taught myself everything up to and including Linear Algebra and Differential Equations. I am very interested in physics as well. The problem is, I am stuck in the 10th grade for right now. I taught myself Algebra II a long time ago, but I'll be taking it next year. What should I do? Being stuck in lower classes kind of depresses me.

More info
I suck at social studies and English. I do well in the grammar and essays part, but comprehending literature trips me up so much that I get "C's"

Since school is out for the summer, you will have to wait for the start of the new school year to fix this, unless you can approach someone at the school during the summer school session. Talk to your school councillor, and tell him/her that you already know Algebra II, so you need to take the next level next year, instead of that. Ask him/her to arrange for you to be tested on it, so you can prove you have already mastered Algebra II and are ready for the next level. Because you may have to wait until the fall semester starts, you may have to spend a few days in Algebra II, until this can be sorted out, but don't worry about it.

And congratulations on being so good in math. :D I can handle basic math okay, but higher math is beyond me. At least all I need is the basic stuff, though.

I'm in the same situation as you, for the most part. A's in everything except English. I've taught myself a lot of material, too. Interestingly enough I've also taught myself up to differential equations, and a lot of material in other subjects. Unfortunately I can't escape high school yet. I'm making up for it by taking all AP courses next year, so basically I'll be doing college freshman level work all year. Another added benefit is that school will be over for me halfway through May. Perhaps you should see if your school offers AP courses.

Thank you guys for the replies. Seeing as it is summer, and there is no way for me to go to the counselor, I will have to wait until the beginning of the school year and brave 3-4 days of Algebra II.
