College is a lot of work, but I'm pretty good at managing my time. I do get stressed out at times, but I don't let it bother me too much.

It depends. My first semester (last spring semester) in college I didn't really get stressed out in anything. It was a pretty chill schedule and I was able to handle all the course work pretty well, even when I didn't a ton of effort into it. But this semester I'm pretty stressed out. All of my classes are SUPER hard for me and I'm behind in a lot. The only thing I think I'm actually caught up in is in my Japanese class, and even that I wonder. I had to drop a class this semester because my schedule sucks, so now I'm only down to 12 credits and I'm still overwhelmed. Though, I think another issue as to why I'm so behind and stressed out is because I'm depressed and have no motivation in the place where I'm residing right now. So after this semester, I'm going to not return to the school I'm at and just work full time and once my lease ends, I'm getting the hell out of this place and move to a place where one of my best friends lives and go to a community college that has the same program I'm in now, but in just an associate.

I routinely have breakdowns when I'm taking classes. Most of the breakdowns happen while attempting to write papers. :wall:

I graduated from college already. But I do recall always thinking I failed a test, when in fact I did very good. So I always thought I'm a failure, but I got a good grade. If I thought I did very good, then I failed. :( I was very overwhelmed in college. I majored in music and so it was competitive and stressful. I initially was going to get a Bachelor of Music in Performance but didn't want to take the classes that are required. So I decided on a general music degree which has a lot more of extra classes that weren't music related. There is no way I can do a junior or senior recital for a grade and memorize the piano pieces in front of a huge crowd! Piano recitals always stressed me out. So by doing the general degree I didn't need to do recitals. YAY! But other work was stressful. My senior year my faculty adviser passed away and the dean also passed away.

I tend to be hard on myself when I do both assignments and tests, and I've USUALLY thought I did worse on them than I actually did. My actual grade differential from what I think I got ranges from -1 letter grade to +2.3 letter grades. (the +2.3 being when I thought I got a C on a test when I got an A+!)

Perfectionism/being hard on myself, I think, fuels procrastination. At the last minute, I no longer have TIME to do a perfect job on the assignment, so I do what feels like a half-assed job but very often get an A on it anyway, even when I thought I got a B or C!

If I were a professor I would have a tendency to grade too hard.
