Special Ed staff need to do their homework

One time I had an IEP meeting, and my mom was saying that I have PDD; I couldn't say anything, because she would get upset if I did, but the sped staff took it for granted. So they have me registered as PDD-Asperger's-Tourette's.

To narrow it down: Asperger's is a PDD and can exhibit characteristics from Tourette's, I don't believe that someone can have that many disorders, we need to narrow it down.

yes SEN staff deffinetly need to do their homework. The SENcO at my old school did not know what Aspergers Syndrome was!

That is Ironic, considering that Lorna Wing coined Asperger's Syndrome in England.
