I've had an IQ test conducted for me a while back, because it was necessary for my application to university (I have no schooling past grade eight, I was an autodidact; I taught myself).

The results were given to me in percentile form. I'm just wondering how each percentile score converts to a number on the typical IQ scale (100 being average). The test is the WAIS-III Canadian.

For example, what is 99.5th percentile in Full Scale Intelligence Quotient equivalent to numerically on the standard scale?

Any help you can provide is most appreciated.

IQ scales are variable while in some countries you may score high on IQ in some countries low. In USA the IQ is on different scale probably. Not sure.
