Hay... I'm wondering if anyone's been on an independent living course. That involved the real basics like cooking, cleaning, shopping managing finance an so on... Even though I went to Uni, I never picked up on um... actually living there and dead focused on the degree at hand....

Experiences, or whatever... plus I am seeking advice that may actually be quite suitable for my needs... Despite sharing class with well... the whole disability spectrum and such...

I have heard about New York Institute of Technology's Voctional Independence Program (VIP)

But I have questions about that program, especially the summer program

Is it reliable?
Has anyone on this site attended that program?
Has anyone gotten the benefits out of it?
