Does anyone else use this? I'm doing a music course at the moment and have signed up for a few more. I'm not sure I would use the qualifications for work but I'm learning a lot from it.

I found out about it a while ago and i'm thinking about applying for a course.

You say you are learning a lot from it, would you reccomend them overall? Also, do the courses actually start on the dates given, or is that just when they become available, and you can do them at your own pace after that date? Is it really as good as it appears/are the courses really completely free?

Sorry for all the questions, i'm just curious. You don't have to answer them if you don't want to.

Hope you continue learning and enjoy yourself. :)

It's no problem. The course's are free and the one I'm doing at the moment consists of weekly video lectures(which last around an hour or two) with exams(which you can answer while watching the lectures). There is also a weekly assignment which for this week at least is a presentation in a format of my own choice based on the course material, this is marked by other students while I mark their presentations. You can do the course at your own leisure but there are weekly deadlines to be met so I find it easier to study about an hour a day. I would recommend it but I'm sure not every course is the same.
