because of anxiety? I've had a problem with this, even when on medication. Those days I feel horrible and lazy because I just stay in my bed all day. I don't know why I do it; I guess it must be a part of my advoidant personality.

No, I have done so because of a library sale but not anxiety.

I skipped an art class once because I hated the teacher (I passed the class with a C at the end of the semester) and was afraid of being humiliated by the girl who sat next to me (who hated me and liked to spread nasty rumors about me).

twice, and because it was a 740 class. I do not like 740 classes.

Ive done it a couple of times when i feel tense. Not really anxiety or something. Most of the time when i skip classes its because i want to sleep.

I find there is nothing wrong with skipping, as long you do it within reason and you can still pull off a B grade in the class.

done it several times over the past five years of college. Last week I had a legitimate reason to miss class (strep throat) but a couple weeks before that, I woke up on a Thursday and just did not want to be around people. After a lukewarm shower, that sealed the deal and I stayed home all day and played video games.

I skipped a lot of class in year 9. I was constantly scared of school, lessons and people and once I found out how I could skip at least a lesson a day I did it. I wasn’t diagnosed at the time and I knew there was something wrong with me and I didn’t know what it was, therefore I could not get help, so it continued for the whole year and they actually said that I didn’t have to go to the lessons that where most stressful (Dram, Music, anything with group participation) to try and stop me. Thankfully it was only year 9 and wasn’t during important exams. i still do it now when i find i'm just to scared to walk out the door, but that is a lot less then it used to be.

I'm not sure what you mean by anxiety.

But yes, I have missed lessons. I missed PE during most of Year 10. Most of the time I had hated PE but just put up with it. I had finally had enough by Year 10 so just didn't go. Surprisingly, no one found out and I got away with it till the end of the year. Now that I'm in Year 11, the staff at school decided that there was nothing they could do to get me to go and I got to officially drop the subject and now I just spen those lessons doing homework, which is good :)

I do but mostly out of depression. Sometimes I get so bad that I can hardly get out of bed.

I skipped once, and then the teacher told me that type of activity is better suited for the playground.

Actually, I have not skipped a class in 2 years.

You told me you sold drugs for your teacher at school and he let you skip class to
cut the new batches of cocaine up for your fellow elementary school students.
