Well, uh, thanks for the input, although it's not easy for me to start a conversation. I have been somewhat already trying though, it's almost like asking someone out when it comes to me. I'll keep trying though, but I'm perfectly ok if all else fails.
About the facebook. That I will probably manage to do, in fact, I think I may already have some of them added.
Anyways, thanks.
I'm exactly the same; you've no idea how awkward I was in first year of university, but believe me you just have to keep trying (or wait for someone else to take you under their wing- the problem with that tactic though is that you never learn to do it by yourself, you always rely on others making the move). Seriously, just try putting the DS away (even if it is Dragonquest IX
) and forcing yourself to be open to others; first year is the year that people make their friends for the rest of college so it is worth the effort.
Anyway, as for the original question; I'm usually up at 7, in by 8/9, lectures through till lunch (coffee and library) then lectures till 5, home to bf; cinema/study/dossing around till 2am. I hang around the few close friends I have if they're there, otherwise I chit chat with others in my year whom I like.
