Hi

Do USA schools colleges and uni's have teacher training in Asperger's syndrome and is there anywhere I can find more nfo about it ?

hi, i do know that part of training for a special ed teacher involves teaching of special needs and learning disabilities but i really dont think they go into full context of the disabilities seen in the special ed classroom, if you are still in school maybe you can set up a meeting between you and a special ed teacher so you can ask him or her questions about their education before they were certified to teach.

It really depends on where the teacher is trained and what they are trained for. I had a teacher who knew quite a bit about AS because he has had several students who have AS in all of his years of teaching.

There might be a book on this in the library of a local college. I've seen them in mine in the education section.
