I use a school laptop, which they took back this morning. Since then I have been tapping my hands and feet rapidly without stop. It's upsetting my classmates and teachers but I can't stop.

Last period a classmate told me to stop repeatedly, so I, raising my voice just a little, told them to leave me alone. My teacher, also annoyed by my tapping, sent me out of the room.

That’s unfortunate, I feel for you. Why did they take the laptop away?

They say it's distracting  Yet everyone else (but me) has a smartphone out all the time

No, I take care of my own problems.

The thing is: I am distracted, so I use the computer. Not the other way around. I'll still be distracted, now my teachers can't tell because instead of using a computer I'm drawing, or writing poetry, or just staring blankly.

That’s good. I have a son the same age as you and he tends to take care of any problems he has at school as well. Probably works better that way.
I was very distracted in school and did the same things you do to cope with it. My youngest son who has AS gets distracted easily as well.
As to your situation hopefully a solution will present itself.

Do you have an advocate at school who can explain about AS and stimming to your teachers?

In high school I was in the advanced tract with AP courses and the gifted program, but my teachers understood that I shook my leg and tapped my leg uncontrollably, and would "play piano" on the desk and twirl pens.

I told my mother

She said that "I'm too old to be acting like a child and I should've just stopped tapping

Darn shame that you got sent out of the classroom for something that you can't control, Asperger96. You didn't even cause a big disruption in the class, and you were sent out of the classroom. That sucks. Plus, what your mother said seemed kind of insensitive. Hopefully, you can get this issue solved soon.

It's actually gotten worse. Ive been doing it more and mote and I cannot stop. People who sit around me are getting ticked off.

THey say just stop.

But its like when you stop breathing, just hold your breath. Its alright for the first few moments, but then the pressure starts building inside of you, more and more. YOu cannot think of anything else, and you eventually get to a point where you have to either let it out or have your insides explode

As nebrets said you really should see a advocate or school consular about this. Are the teachers offering any solutions or just reacting?

My Economics and Science teachers didn't understand, trying to force me to stop and sending me out, respectively.

My English teacher was a little more understanding, asking if I was alright.

But my case manager didn't listen to me
