Support for kids with ASD in Primary Schools
Hey,
So I live in South Australia and have a little sister who is severely autistic. I find it really hard to watch her struggle so much at school and can't help but wander if there is any improvements that I could help implement, or at least be able to raise concerns with some of the schools in my region.
What do you guys think of the primary school systems in terms of the support they give to kids who are on the spectrum?
As a compulsory year 11 subject we have to design a research question around a topic we are passionate about, so I am looking at improving the support given to children with autism in primary schools. If you want to have a say or help me out I'd love your input! Also I've constructed a survey which should only take a couple of minutes if any of you have time, but the website won't let me post the link so if you could spare a few minutes just message me directly and I'll send it to you.
Thanks!
