I went to boarding school in high school. It saved my life! It imposed structure and made socialising a natural part of my everyday routine (from sharing a bathroom with the other guys on my floor to breakfast/lunch/dinner in hall, and mandatory extracurricular activities (two trimesters per year had to be spent doing a sport). Oh, and I had some amazing teachers and an advisor who was always available. I think Asperger/high-funcitoning autism and boarding school is a great combination; it definitely helped prepare me for entering college.
