Im sure im not the only one who gets this. While everyone else is anticipating the long summer im incredibly depressed because my primary motivator (studies) and the focus of my entire life is now over for the summer.

How do you get over the gloom?

Yeah, I get this. Think it is partly because education is the only thing I do that might be worth anything, and also because holidays mean breakdown in routine.

Have you got anything else to do over the break, or could you look for things to do? For example, I'm thinking about doing some online courses and trying to get a voluntary placement somewhere.

Yehh im going to volunteer at the local Hare Krishna temple. Might end up spending most of the week there. That and long walks + studying. Just the rhythm and routine of uni is gone

I need that sense of order and structure. I cant impose it on myself unfortunately
