I studied abroad my sophomore year. It was excellent. I actually greatly miss the city I lived in. I am still friends with and keep in touch with some of my housemates too. Just make sure it is a good match for you program wise. How about housing? I was in a situation where the school matched us based on surveys. I had my own room in a big house. Study the culture of the place before you go however you can. Have a lot of money to spend if possible and have fun!
