So I'm transferring to a four year college sooner rather than later and looking at the best programs out there for not only English Majors like myself, but also those that offer decent disability assistance. After doing some research, it appears that Long Beach in So. Cal is by far the best one out there. Not sure if anyone has or not, but it looks really good from what I can see.

Long Beach Disability Autism

Any one else have success in these type of college offerings?

Just to clarify here, this is CSU Long Beach no UC Long Beach right?

As for my own experiences, I was considering going to Augsburg College, which has some notable ADHD and ASD as well as other disability support programs. I ended up going elsewhere because I wanted a better academic profile.

So what kinds of services do they have there? How is it at other colleges that offer these kinds of things?

Yes. CSU Long Beach. Check out the link I provided. Great services. Problem with even some of the most well regarded schools, is that the best they can offer autists is more time on testing and that's pretty much it. With Long Beach though, they actually pair you up with someone who provides coaching on relationships, job interviews and other cool stuff. Even getting to socialize with other autists. How cool is that! :)

I know WVU has a specific program for Aspergers, I'm told the ASU and UoA here have support as well.
