I'm reviewing Algebra to prep for Pre-Calc/Trig (itself a prereq for Calculus).
I was in Algebra 1 in 2008, and had Algebra 2 from 10th to 12th grade, has been a year since. It's now tedious enough that i need some external stimulation to improve on it.

Not sure if this is what you were looking for, but here are a variety of suggestions such as converting Fahrenheit to Celsius in weather forecasts or vice versa, figuring increase or decrease, etc.. http://education.seattlepi.com/real-lif ... -2405.html

I'd say anything where you would use it in real life, you can just create your own problems. Although, it can be confusing, i know. i was actually first going to suggest that, if you like sports, some writers have shown that the Pythagorean Theorum works for teams' expected won-loss record, too, when it comes to baseball, not sure about others. But as I went to write that I said, "Wait, that's Geometry, isn't it?"

You could pick up a copy of Euclid or that arabic guy who founded Algebra. The primary sources tend to be a lot better.
