Do you have anywhere quiet that you can go to when you get stressed or anxious at school/college?
At university I usually either hide in one of the stairwells which aren't used as often, walk up to the museum and wonder round there, or stand at the back of the Reference Only section in the library. In school there wasn't really anywhere I could go though.

I school, I would find the 'out of order' sign and stick it on the door of one of the bathrooms, and sit there for a rest.

lol...not a great place though, kinda of cold. I did like it for it was a closed space and was symmetric.

I go to one of the really big nearby parks and go to a quiet spot. Most people I know don't go there and no-one bothers me. I hated it when I was in school and couldn't go and take a quiet break when I needed it.

In my last job I used to hide in the toilets a lot; we had a big open plan office and it constantly made me feel on edge. I don't know why companies have to do that to people, it is nothing to do with efficiency, it is all about egalatariarism and politics.

At school I would hide in the woods next to our school and under the stairwells.....At home I hide in my bedroom and my boyfriend just wonders in every few hours to say..."hi".

When I was a kid we had the coolest little storage area under the stairs...you pressed a pannel and it popped open(magnet)We kept camping sleeping bags there and it was cool, dark and cozy(but a little musty).

At Uni I will often sit in the little journal room at the back of the library, it's totally silent and has two nice comfy chairs to sit in.

At my Uni house I tend to just sit in my room, best chance of peace I have short of going for a walk.

The basement of the library, where I am right now. It has a couple computers, chairs, sofas tables, and bbest of all there are rarely people down here :D

There is also a small farm nearby that I walk to when I get stressed. It's not "alone" but at least there are no humans :D

There are a couple buldings here I hide behind too. People don't often go behind them because there is no reason.

When on campus we have a lake where I believe they sell fishing permits - in the summer I escape to one of the jetty's and just watch the water move, the reeds blow etc (somewhat miffed I can still hear the cars from the Norwich ringroad though)

At university, there's this nice small library of earth sciences. Of course, nobody (but me) ever goes there, and the office-lady got used to me sitting on the windowsill... Beautiful place, really.

When I was getting my music degree, I would spend lots of time in the practice rooms, whether I would be practicing or not. Not exactly quiet, but it served its purpose.
