how do you wake your kids up in the morning ?

my son just go to the elementary school . he is six years old. he's happy and very glad to be together with friends but the matter is he couldn't get up on time every morning .so i want to know normally how do you wake your kids up ? will he( she) get upset or unhappy and dawdle? do you have any good idea for this ?

I wake them up early, and they have a regular time schedule (which is usually unhurried.) Other than that, I use a lot of verbal prompting because they get sidetracked easily.
