:( Does anyone in here know of any colleges or university in the USA? That has a good asperser’s program and that they know how to deal and help someone with asperser’s .I’m 24years I have Asperser’s and Dyslexia I would love to go to college and do something good with my life. But I feel like without the right tools I won’t be able to do in good in college

http://www.professorsadvice.com/

This is all I could find when I was doing my own search

Sadly it's just an indicator of what colleges offer what special ed resources (separate testing rooms, etc), not necessarily which environments are conducive to those with AS, or at least attract a fair number of Aspies.

Many universities have things set up to help with this kind of issue. At Virginia Tech, for example, people with ADHD can get accommodations for extended time testing. Usually double-time, separate from the rest of the class, etc.

I don't know what all you are looking for in terms of accommodations, but giving some universities a phone call would be a good idea. They could tell you roughly what they think could be done for your specific circumstances. You could also use that to decide which universities would be worth applying to for you.

There is an annual book called the Fiske guide to colleges. It has a list in it somewhere of the colleges/universities that have exceptional programs for integrating LDs. I don't remember all of the coleges on the list because it's a long list that gets longer every year.

There is also the Bloomington Center in Bloomington, Indiana and the Brevard Center in Melbourne, Florida. These are very expensive but also teach life skills. They are associated with universities. I don't know whether anyone has mentioned Marshall University in West Virginia. There is an aspie program there as well.
