Well, my Spanish class at the University at Albany ended tonight. It was a short class, as we were there for just over an hour.

Well, what do you think about it, you ask. I found the class rather stimulating, but in terms of wanting to be a translator or some such occupation, I felt it was a waste of time (and money, to a turn).

Three weeks ago, the instructor took me into her office after class and told me that my level of Spanish was insufficient for the graduate level. She offered me a chance to drop out of the class and leave the grade as is, or to substitute a pass/fail for the letter grade I'd normally recieve (any lower than a "B" and I wouldn't have been able to go on).

In sum, doing a Spanish class was one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made. I know O'm probably exaggerating a tad, but that's my story and I'm sticking to it. At least I tried...
