I almost joined a fraternity, I got the bid, but I declined. My friend is in it and I am pretty sure he has it as well. What exactly is the problem? Dealing with lots of people and social expectations? Thats kindof why I didn't join, but more just becasue I'm busy

the only problem is that you know how you sometimes have to compliment yourself when you do something better than you usually do it even though its still not as good as a NT would do? well i have trouble feeling good when i do something better than usual, when everyone else sees it still as not as good as a "normal" person would

I would deal with it by leaving the fraternity or group (or, rather, by never even considering joining it). Groups are to us what deserts are to fish.

When my dad was in college my dad and his friends used to call the guys in fraternities, frat rats.
