hi everyone

me and anubis were talking tonight about all things exams and came up with the idea for an aspie revision group would be very useful

the revision group is open to college and school students alike who feel like studying with like minded people.

we think this would be very useful seeing as most of us have exams this summer.

if anyone is intrested in joining put your name and subjects you are stuidying or pm me or anubis as we are joint in this little group.

I think testing each other is a good idea... perhaps making some threads for various subjects would be very useful.

It's not clear to me what a "revision group" is & does exactly (please explain!), but it sounds interesting.
I'm in college, majoring in biology, also interested in other sciences and visual arts.
Re exams: I've found it very helpful and efficient to not review the relevant material at all until shortly (no more than a day) before an exam, and then focus on the list of topics and checking what connects them and which parts are still unclear. This makes it small and overseeable, so that I don't feel I'm drowning in an ocean of details, and there is no narrowing of the mind due to stress during the exam.

hi willem

a revision group is a group of people that help each other in both fun and practical ways on how to study for and review the work that will most likely appear on a test.

i have found it very useful and fun if the right people are running it

i also find leaving it until the last minute helps so my brain doesnt get confused.

i hope that you decided to join us

Sure! What would this technically entail? Will we be asking each other questions on a WP thread reserved for the subject?

This summer I am studying statistics and industrial organization. I can also help if anyone has studying for economics- although I've mainly learned the neoclassical theories, so if your teacher is teaching you different theories I might not be as helpful. :)
