I've had so many ideas on what i want to do for a career. artist, animation, games, comics, novels, music. I kind of want to dabble in all those fields to see what sticks for me. but I don't know what school to go to for all that. I currently use udemy for learning. but I want to be in groups of people with similar interest and goals. but aside from colleges and art schools, I don't know where to go for this.

One of the schools for that is California Institute of the Arts (Cal Arts).

SCAD in Georgia is an amazing art school, so is NC School for the Arts. East Tennesee University has a game design program that I've heard great things about as well. Lots of STEM based research Universities also have great art programs, sort of hidden gems amidst the more competitive majors. You'll get a lot more attention and hands on time with faculty in schools like that than you would at a bigger art institute, if that's something you prioritize in education.

I feel the best choice for you might be a two-year community college--where you don't have to choose a major.

Once you've taken some introductory courses, I believe you will be, perhaps, more clear as to what you want to major in.

At the very least, you would have two years of college under your belt.
