Well, I've had a stressful time recently.

I'm glad that I can have a little break now. Had to stay up until 3:30 AM doing coursework just to meet my deadlines. Got five hours of sleep, plus I had a forty minute nap after I handed in my work. I'm starting to wonder if I'm cut out for all of this. At least I only need 40% to pass this year (which will increase in the future) but yeah, it's been busy. 8O

Dammit why do I always attempt too much? :x You'd think that I'd know better by now. Oh well. You live and learn I suppose.

Excuse me whilst I switch off for Christmas for a bit. Not completely though, since I still have two assignments to finish for early January. :tired:

Anyone got any positive news to cheer me up? Or some good songs you'd like to share? I need to distress a little.

Thank you.

"positive news" for one person, is bad for a different person

In order to know what you think is "positive news", someone has to know more about you.

For example, in some classes, it grades on a curve. So, when some students do badly, that could benefit other students

Sleep deprivation could help the sleep medication industry

For example, when I got made redundant, that was bad for me. It was good for the next accountant

In one of my courses, the professor informed the class that the final exam would be an open book test and all the questions on the exam would be in the book. I knew he was a really tough professor, so I spent night after night memorizing the book cover to cover. Well the day of the test came and none of the questions were in the book. Around the 50 minute mark in the final with only 10 minutes to go - I found one of the questions. It was hidden away in the footnotes. All of the questions were in the footnotes.

So if you ever have a class where the professor says it is an open book test and all the questions are in the book. My advice to you is memorize the footnotes.
