It was a tough psychology class. I did better and better each time until I passed with a B!

In the schools I go to you cant retake a class unless you got D or F. Are you saying those were the grades you got first two times, or are you saying your school's policy is different?

At my school, you can retake it if you get a C. I failed, then got a C, then got a B. But you can keep your bad grade and give up, too. I chose not to do that.

I’m pretty glad that’s over!

Are you in grad school by any chance? I mean, grad schools treat C as a failing grade so if you are grad student that would explain it. But if you are an undergrad then it is quite surprising since, for an undergrad, C is a passing grade.

Congratulations! That ought to be a good confidence booster.

Congrats! I had a similar experience earlier this year. I failed Probability and Statistics the first time I took it and had to take it again. The second time I took it I studied probably harder than any class I've ever taken and got a B. It felt so flipping good when I passed!
