Does anyone have any tips for giving class presentations? Recently a teacher gave me feedback after a presentation that I seemed nervous and had some distracting behaviors (fidgeting) and needed to make more eye contact. I was trying not to fidget but I couldn't really hide my nervous behaviors. For the next presentation I stood behind a podium so that I could fidget without people noticing which made me a lot more confident and the professor gave me better feedback. But now I have to give another presentation and it isn't an option to stand behind a podium. I don't think it's possible for me to not fidget so I don't know how to not appear nervous while presenting.
