Has anyone been through senioritis? I am a junior experiencing senioritis. If so, do you have any tips on how to beat senioritis?

What exactly do you mean by "senioritis"? What exactly are you experiencing that you are calling "senioritis"?

I'm burned out from school and my studies. I keep pushing myself but in the end I feel empty.

I'm hoping the next school year will be my final year of college, so you are not alone.

Assuming you're talking about burnout from high school, yes I've totally been there. In my experience, the best thing you can to is tell teachers in early on that you're dealing with a lot of burnout and may need extensions. I went to a very lenient school, so it might be harder to get accomodations/extensions where you're at, but generally teachers are more likely to be understanding if they know what's going on. In terms of personal stuff, it's cliche but going on walks along helped me recharge quite a bit.

I haven’t had that since 1979.

The advice above is good.

I've had senioritis before. I honestly thought it was depression at first. The excitement of being in your last year of school can wear off when you're so burned out from it.

I just learned earlier today that this school year will not be the final year of college for me.

According to an adviser, I need four more classes to complete my BA in English
alongside meeting with a specialist who could help me complete requirements for my Minor.

My mom received her GED back in 1996 and she sometimes
felt the same way in the latter part of her student years.

She grew up in poverty in Central America, so that's your explanation.

I graduate college this semester and I feel myself sliding into not caring about classes and blowing things off. For me, I'm walking the tightrope of not being too hard on myself and also wanting to do a good job. If you've got one more year to go, enjoy it! Think about taking full advantage of your education since a lot of people don't have that luxury.

Yea. I was like shutting myself down in preparation for my whole world changing to go to college.

But my counselors and parents helped me by making some mini-routines I could follow that didn't rely on a set schedule. Since schedule changes every semester in university.
