In school did you ever get labeled to be into one of the usual school stereotypes such as goth, geek, prep ect? Also who do you think people have to label everyone as something just to exist in their eyes?

I was always labeled as a goth which drove me crazy for the whole time i was in school because I'd get screamed at because I sometimes dressed and listened to "goth" music then the next day I'd be listening to sublime and wearing tie dye because your not supposed to change/mix your "personality".

I didn't even receive a label until last year, which was prep. Then again, about 85% of the students at my school are preps, so yeah.

I was the loner. People in general did not want to converse with a talking goat that was on fire.

I was the outcast who occasionally got
picked on - often to those doing so's
dismay, as I got older and more violent.

Loner, shy, aloof (afraid and nervous of social interactions.)
I kind of went all across the board in who I would hang out
with, basically I was friends with those who were friendly
with me. No one could get too close though, so I was given
up on after a time. It seemed that the "stoners" or "druggies"
would always take people in, when no one else wanted them.
That didn't work too well, since drugs, alcohol and I don't mix.

I sometimes wish I was stereotyped, because at least then I'd have others with similar interests. I didn't fit in with the goths, or the smart kids, or anybody. I was just the kid who didn't talk much, and was easily agitated. I sat by myself at lunch, and it was basically like I was an invisible observer.

Toward the end of high school I made a few friends that also played musical instruments, but I wasn't a stereotypical "musician".

I used to sit by myself in high school at lunch also.

Then during my senior year I just left school before lunch even though I wasn't allowed to do that.
