In June I did a GCSE exam for Religious Studies, which makes up 50% of my final grade (it is added to the other exam later this year for the final grade). I got the result back today. Here it is:

Mark: 88%
Grade: A

I am very pleased with this mark! It is a lot better than my mock exam result which was 83%. But I missed an A* by 2 marks!
RE is actually one of my weaker subjects as there is no straight answer, but if I can get this mark in a weaker subject, then God knows (ho ho ho) what I can get in my strongest!

I couldn't care less if someone got a higher mark than me.

Congratulations! Religious Studies is supposed to be easy but is in fact very hard. I'm about to go pick up my GCSE results and I am unbelievably excited.

My two friends are too and they'll undoubtedly get very good results!

AS I'm in the year below them, I only did three exams so far. I'll get my full results next year.

Well done indeed.
Can I ask what sort of questions they ask in RE these days please?
I was never at all interested in RE when I was at school as I had belived all that Evolution theory they insist on shoveing down your throat, but now Ive learned to think for myself, Iam very interested indeed!

Well the first year has the J subjects;

J1 - Beliefs and Values
J2 - Communion and Tradition
J3 - Worship and Celebration
J4 - Living the Christian Life
and

J5 - A Place of Catholic Worship
or
J6 - Christian Vocations.

This is what the exam was on.

No thanks! :D

As a job, I would either like to be a physicist or an environmental scientist. Or something along those lines.
