Ok here's the story i started at an art college, but it was getting in the way of my stuff, creating more stress, and to top it off i finished an assignment and rushed to get it up the same day it was due [i forgot about it] but even though the assignmet wasn't over i got failed with a zero which stayed up there for 4 days.

now all of a sudden i get a perfect score, wtf! god i'm so pissed i can't even describe.

that zero along with not be able to understand terms and having to shove my projects onto a monthly basis because i can only focus on one thing at a time made me quit and shoved me farther into a very bad down point. [that hasn't left though] but now 5 days later that zero that made me think bad of myself is now a 16.

i could have spent better money on games for my wii, i want a reason for that s**t if i was given a crap score i want that to remain a crap score.

it's like rushing an abulance to crash site after saying "we can't make it". if i've crashed and no one can help at that second i want to die not have the vehicle rushed there a minute late to bring me to the morg!

Some teachers think they have the right to weed people out of a profession by stressing them out. Don't set your self-respect by what someone else thinks of you or your work. No one this side of Judgement is so wise and smart and knowing that they can judge your worth. We simply aren't large enough to contain all of the information it takes.

I had to drop landscape architecture for the same reason. I am now in horticulture. It has a much more laid back pace. I could not handle having to create art in someone else's time frame and to someone else's standards.

College is a tough environment. I'd recommend not playing any video games while in college. I gave up video games a couple of years ago and it was the 2nd best thing I ever did.

I agree, they can destroy your GPA. I'll just play Sumper Smash Brawl 10 hours a day over December vacation :)

Jetfox, did you ask your instructor about your grade? I know you're not continuing with art school, but if you decide to go into another college, always ask the instructor about grades that seem really strange, especially when the grade is on some kind of electronic grading system. More often than not, the graders have just entered the wrong number or misplaced/forgotten your assignment. Could that have been what happened here - could the grader have made an error or just entered a zero as a placeholder until s/he had time to look at your assignment?
