Okay. I've got a big problem here. The thing is, I can't do mainstream at high school. Mum seems to think that I won't be able to handle it because you have to change classes every lesson. So what? She can't say that I can't handle it! If she'd let me try it, who knows. I might actually like it. I'd love to go back to school to get a decent education, so I can get a job when I'm older. But that's the problem. Being homeschooled isn't helping me at all. I'm in year 11, the second to last year in high school. I don't think I'll even be allowed to graduate...

Another thing. I was in a 'special ed' class in year 8, 9 and a bit of year 10. I then started mainstream craft and design classes, but they stopped. No one told me why.

I wish my mom had been able to homeschool me.
I think it would be good to ask questions about why your design classes were stopped. You have the right to know. If it was something you did, you need to know so you will be able to modify your behaviour. You can't change what you don't know is wrong. If it was their bigotry... well, I don't know what the next step is.

I was placed in a "special ed" class when I was in year 7...I didn't even know that it was a special ed class until I read a letter from the school that my mum said I could open.

Anyway......
I think that your mother should let you do mainstream school...if you want to, it's your choice. If you can handle it, then great. If you can't, then atleast you tried.
Try explaining to her why you want to do mainstream school and hopefully she will listen.
I wish you luck.

I want to do mainstream so I can make friends. It's too hard to make friends in special ed, as most of them are scared of me.

Agree with you on that because I made friends due to I became mainstream in high school and middle school.
